Architectural association of Kenya

The architectural association of Kenya (AAK) is the Hosting Organisation for this inaugural edition of the Pan-African Biennale. They are the leading architectural association of Kenya and the main sponsor of this first edition.

Founded in 1967, the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) is the leading association for built environment professionals in Kenya. It brings together eight disciplines — Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Town Planners, Engineers, Landscape Architects, Environmental Design Consultants, Interior Designers, and Construction Project Managers — under one umbrella. AAK’s mission is to promote excellence in the built environment through advocacy, capacity building, and professional development. The Association continues to champion ethical practice, innovation, and sustainability in shaping Kenya’s built environment.
